These moments offer us opportunities to sell an idea, influence a colleague, and make an unforgettable impression. Instead of hoping you do well, join this session and have some techniques and ideas in your back pocket. Learn why impromptu speaking is so critical to your career, how to use key structural elements to craft a strong impromptu statement, and what to do when you have no time to prepare. This session also covers how to handle special circumstances, such as when you’re drawing a blank or dealing with a technical question.

🐠Day 2: Speak to inform – Today the average person absorbs more than 20,000 words of information daily, from sources ranging from the internet to television to cereal boxes. As a speaker, often your task is to organize and communicate the information you already have. To do this effectively, you must be able to relate the information to your listeners, who then make mental connections and fill in their own knowledge gaps. Through your words you can ignite passion, fascinate, and stimulate your audiences to learn even more. In this session, you will learn techniques you can use when presenting any type of informational talk.

🐠Day 3: Speak to tell story – Storytelling has been a form of communication throughout the history of mankind. It is part of every civilization on every continent. Early storytellers told the deeds of their heroes; these stories were expanded over the years to include tales and fables. Storytelling continues to be popular today and involve in daily conversations, business world… This session will help you develop your storytelling skills.

🐠Day 4: Speak to entertain – People like to be entertained. The popularity of books movies, television programs and DVDs is strong evidence of this. Entertaining speakers are in demand as well. The purpose of entertaining speaker is simply to offer listeners as pleasant diversion. Conventions and civic, professionals and social club meetings always need entertaining speakers for their programs. Entertaining speakers don’t need to be funny. This isn’t necessarily so. While some entertaining speakers include humor, a speech need not always be funny in order to entertain. This session will help you learn to give different types of entertaining speeches.

🐠Day 5: Speak to inspire – An inspirational speech motivates an audience to improve personally, emotionally, professionally or spiritually and relies heavily on emotional appeal. It brings the audience together in a mood of fellowship and shared desire, builds the audience’s enthusiasm, then proposes a change or plan and appeals to the audience to adopt this change or plan. Inspirational speech is one of the three types of persuasive speeches.

🐠Day 6: Speak to persuade – Consider the successful people you know – the ones who have achieved their goals in their occupations, community and personal lives. What makes them so successful? If you could identify one personality characteristic they all have in common, it mostly likely would be their ability to persuade others. In this session, we will take you through persuasive skills.

🐠Day 7: Speak on different occasions – Occasionally you may be called upon to give a special kid of speech, one presented in honor of a friend, a relative or co-worker. Perhaps a loved one has passed away and you will be saying a few words at the service. Or you have been invited to a formal awards banquet at which you will be a recipient.
