Youth Leadership Development

Life for teens today is no longer a playground. It’s a jungle out there, with tough choices, peer pressure, personal insecurities, and anxiety about what others think. Then consider feelings of depression, inferiority, and jealousy of others’ successes.

This program helps students apply foundational leadership skills to the tough choices they face every day. The Leadership Foundation is a 12-month training to equip learners 12 must-have skills of a leader such as negotiation, entrepreneurship, critical thinking, management and so on. The training is presented during or after school, or on weekends.

Module 1 – Proactiveness: 

  • Be Proactive is about taking responsibility for your life. You can’t keep blaming everything on your parents or grandparents. Proactive people recognize that they are “response-able.” Learn how to be proactive for your life.

Module 2 – Adaptability: 

  • Learn how to cultivate an adaptable mindset and build the right skills, including communication and open-mindedness. Then find out how to put your new adaptability skills into action.

Module 3 – Communication: 

  • Communication is the most important skill in life. You spend years learning how to read and write, and years learning how to speak. But what about listening? What training have you had that enables you to listen so you really, deeply understand another human being? You will discover these skills in the 3rd month of your Leadership training journey.

Module 4 – Organizational skills: 

  • Learn how to capture, clarify, organize, reflect, and engage with tasks that are demanding your attention, and come away with a clear head and a clear focus.
